Why You Should Use Professional Photography For Your Website

Do you recognise this woman?

This businesswoman may seem familiar to many people from all around the world. You might not be able to put a name to the face or remember where you have seen her. If you try and place the company that she works for, you are likely to fail in your attempts.

Why?

The image is from a stock photography website. She may seem familiar to you because she has been placed on hundreds, if not thousands of websites across the world. The image has been downloaded around 25,000 times from a single stock photography website alone!

There is nothing wrong with using stock photos for your website, that’s why they’re there! Millions of websites use stock images across the world!

That said, if you want to set your business apart from the competition, giving your website and your business a personality is the way forward.

Give yourself and your company website a virtual personality!

The journey for your clients, before they walk into your office and shake your hand, will most often go through social media platforms or through your website. Potential clients will do their research to find out a little about you and your company. People like to envisage what you and your premises will look like before they meet up with you in the flesh. Imagine the disappointment if the images of you and your workplace that you have used on your website or social media look nothing like that in reality?

The team at Leavitt Walmsley Associates and their Marketing Consultant, Rina Bharath from Mini Me Marketing recently decided to give their business website, wider marketing and PR activity  a personality makeover. They commissioned F11 Photography to take some commercial photographs of staff members and also their workspace.

Please note that at the time of writing this blog, their website is currently under construction and images have not yet been updated!

The Engine Rooms at Birchwood Park was a great location for the photography, offering great lighting and vibrant colours which all added to the shots.

A clear and professional looking photograph on your website or social media is a great way to introduce potential clients to your team.
